Under the direction of Ricardo Kimaid Junior, the Movimento gallery presents itself as a space destined to share the creative process of emerging artists, as well as those already established. It has a collection created from the crossing of different generations, valuing the quality of the mediums and the diversity of new aesthetic prospects.
Founded in 2007, it holds exhibitions throughout the year with the aim of launching, together with the careful support of curators, new critical perspectives on contemporary production. In 2021, it moved to a century-old house in Baixo Gávea, a neighborhood in Rio de Janeiro traditionally frequented by artists and intellectuals, adding to the already established cultural scene.
